I was scouring a few of my favorite blogs last night and decided to “Pin” a few things I saw that I really liked. I also found a few things that I know I would love to eventually post about on my blog….but not quite yet.
Well, in my pinning excitement, I noticed Pinterest prompting me to look at a new feature they’ve launched, Secret Boards! This new feature gives you the option of creating up to 3 new boards that only you, or whoever else you might want to invite, can see and have access to. At first I was wondering what I’d ever use it for, but then the idea hit me! What a cool tool for holding all of the blog post ideas I have that might launch in a couple days, weeks or even months. Brilliant! If you’d like to check it out, head on over to Pinterest.com and get some more info. Now I know what I will be using one of my secret boards for, what would you use yours for? Or is it a secret? 😉 Leave your thoughts below in the comments section…
This past week Reid and I did a wonderful engagement shoot in downtown Lakeland. This is always one of our favorite places to go whether it’s for work, practicing our photography or just spending some much needed family time. Luckily this week, we were able to do a little bit of both. This has been a little bit of a stressful work week, so I really enjoyed looking back on our day spent there. I hope you enjoy too!
Ybor City Days
This was a pretty good week I must say. I got to work from home yesterday because, well I own my own business and I can :), and that was great. I think I have talked myself into taking at least one work at home day a week or every couple weeks as it’s always good to break up the monotony. I know that “stay at home” day is coming when I dread going into the office and just need a change of scenery. I actually think I got more done in that one day than two days at the office. Funny how that works sometimes. So, Work Tip #1 from me: Change your scenery once in a while!
Anyways, below are a couple pictures from my week. My wonderful mother and mother-in-law came into the “big city” to have a nice lunch at The Stone Soup Company, I highly recommend it if you’re in the area! Reid and I also had a wedding venue meeting with one of our wonderful bride and groom’s where we found that cool, old building. Of course, Reid had to whip out his camera and I’m glad he did. Enjoy! 🙂
